🌟 Receptionist NPC Trading & Daily Routine System - Ultimate Dual-Language Edition 🌟
(Tested on 1.21.11 | Skript)
Ever felt like your server NPCs are just lifeless mannequins?
This system changes that — completely.

Thank you for downloading this system! This is an advanced NPC script designed to inject "soul" into your server. It’s not just a shop GUI; it’s a living, breathing ecosystem where your receptionists have their own Daily Routines.

📌 【Features & Mechanics】

Sequential Shift System: They wake up and walk to work in a strict hierarchy.

Forced Overtime AI: If a player is at the counter at closing time, the receptionists will stay late to serve them!

Anti-Stuck Smart Teleport: 15-second timeout radar. Zero pathing downtime.

🌍 Built-in Dual Language System (EN/ZH)!
This system supports both English and Traditional Chinese natively!

Players toggle their personal language anytime using: /maid-lang en or /maid-lang zh.

(Note: Default language is English. To change the server default to Chinese, edit Maid_Talk.sk and change set {maid.lang} to "en" to "zh").

💡 PRE-INSTALLATION: Building the Environment
⚠️ 【CRITICAL: The 5-in-1 Ecosystem!】
This is a linked 5-NPC ecosystem. Their schedules are tied together. You MUST create all 5 receptionists. Missing even one will break the scheduling chain!

【Build First, Hire Later】
Do not create the NPCs yet! Build your counter and staff bedroom first.

📏 Safe Distance: Leave AT LEAST 3 blocks of space between each receptionist at the counter. If they are too close, approaching them will trigger multiple greetings simultaneously and spam the chat!

👑 Manager Position: Mary is the Manager, so place her in the Center.

🧍 Recommended Setup (Left to Right): Elusia ➔ Columbina ➔ Mary ➔ Vesta ➔ Lilith.

📂 【STEP 1】: Server Requirements & Dependencies
⚠️ Java Edition Only (Paper, Spigot, Purpur). Vanilla/Bedrock/Forge-only are NOT supported!
Ensure you have these 3 essential plugins installed (Recommended versions):

Skript (2.14.2)

Citizens (2.0.41-b4128)

SkBee (3.17.1)

🎮 【STEP 2】: In-Game Setup (Do this while the server is running!)
Go to the exact spots at your counter where you want them to stand.

1. Create the NPCs (Use default English names for now):
Type these exactly: /npc create Elusia, /npc create Columbina, /npc create Mary, /npc create Vesta, /npc create Lilith.

2. Activate Look-Close & Get IDs:
Aim at EACH NPC one by one and type:

/npc sel (Selects the NPC)

/npc id (Write this ID number down! e.g., 105)

/npc lookclose (Activates basic head-turning)

3. Grab All Coordinates (Press F3):
Walk to the exact blocks and write down the coordinates. You will need to collect:

5 Bed locations (one for each NPC)

5 Desk locations (one for each NPC)

2 Shared Path Nodes (used by all NPCs to navigate corners)
(Total: 12 coordinate points)

(💡 TIP: The 2 Path Nodes are shared by everyone so they walk down the same hallway like real humans. Node 1 is near the beds, Node 2 is near the counter. DO NOT mix them up! If your inn is tiny, just use the Bed coordinates for the nodes.)

🛑 【STEP 3】: Offline Core Configuration
Now, STOP your server.

1. Advanced NPC Head-Turning (Citizens saves.yml):

Go to plugins/Citizens/ and open saves.yml.

Search for the IDs you saved (e.g., '105':).

Under traits:, replace their lookclose block with this:

YAML

        lookclose:
          lookclose: null
          enabled: true
          range: 5.0
          realisticlooking: true
          disablewhilenavigating: false
          randomPitchRange: [0.0, 0.0]
          randomYawRange: [0.0, 360.0]
⚠️ 【YAML FORMATTING RULE OF DEATH】: NO TABS allowed! Use the Spacebar. There MUST be a space after colons (e.g., enabled: true).
💡 If your server shows errors or fails to load Citizens: 99% chance it's a YAML spacing issue. Check your spaces carefully.

2. Editing the Scripts (Maid_Core.sk & Maid_Talk.sk):

Place BOTH files into plugins/Skript/scripts/. Open them with Notepad++ or VSCode.

Look at the options: block at the very top. Fill in your data:

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT:
If you only update ONE file, the system will BREAK. Make sure BOTH Maid_Core.sk AND Maid_Talk.sk have the EXACT SAME IDs and Names!

🆔 [NPC ID Setup] (MUST BE UPDATED IN BOTH FILES)
Replace the default numbers with your actual IDs.
Example (If Mary's ID is 105):
Change: Mary_ID: 6 ➔ Mary_ID: 105

🏷️ [NPC Display Names] (MUST BE UPDATED IN BOTH FILES)
Leave these as default for now! Change them later using the Advanced Guide.

🛏️ [Home Coordinates (Beds)] (Only in Maid_Core.sk)
Format rule: Cmd uses spaces. Radar uses commas!
Example:
Mary_Home_Cmd: -1709.5 148 5667.5
Mary_Home_Radar: -1709.5, 148, 5667.5

💼 [Desk Coordinates (Counter)] (Only in Maid_Core.sk)
Example:
Mary_Desk_Cmd: -1711 143 5667
Mary_Desk_Radar: -1711, 143, 5667

🚶 [Path Nodes] (Only in Maid_Core.sk)
Apply the 2 shared turning points you gathered in Step 2.

🚀 【STEP 4】: Final Boot & Activation!
Start your Minecraft server.

Log in and type: /sk reload scripts

Type the activation command: /maid-reset
(⚠️ This step is REQUIRED. Without /maid-reset, the NPCs may not start their routines correctly.)

✅ Success Signal: How to know it worked?
If everything is set correctly, you should see:

NPCs walking from their beds to the counter.

They arrive one by one in a strict hierarchy (not all at once).

They start greeting players when you approach them.
If this doesn't happen: ➔ Double-check your IDs and coordinates in the options block!

🎨 【ADVANCED GUIDE】: Renaming & Skins
Once everything is working perfectly, you can customize them. You MUST follow this exact order:

Change the Name in the options: block in BOTH Maid_Core.sk and Maid_Talk.sk.

Type /sk reload scripts in-game.

Aim at the NPC and type /npc sel (CRITICAL STEP!).

Type /npc rename [NewName]. (Must match the script exactly!)

Type /npc skin [PremiumPlayerName] to restore their custom look.

Type /maid-reset
